Meeting called to order at 9:04am
Attending: Jean Armitage, Ruth Buchanan, Jennifer Clark, Mira Munson, David Spidal

Minutes from March 13 and 22 meetings were approved.
Outreach Worker Hiring: References of two applicants were contacted with favorable responses. Our 1st choice accepted the position. She has been introduced to the Selectboard and is being orientated to existing files. Her next steps were discussed.
Southern Hilltown COAs Consortium is about ready for 2nd newsletter to be printed and mailed. Updates of our mailing list submitted to SHCOAC office.
Highland Valley Elder Services has a revised two-page “Summary of Services and Resources” which was shared with members.
Treasurer’s report was reviewed and accepted as presented.
Upcoming Events:
Yoga preparation on schedule for summer start time
Souper Thursdays, beginning 4/20 details were discussed with initial commitments from members to oversee the weekly event. David to get supplies. Mira to oversee first few events.
Pre-Retirement Planning Seminar planning and preparation reviewed. Flyers to be distributed to neighbor towns and mailed (email and snail) to people under age of 60 our mail list. Mira will prep the continental breakfast.
Transportation: those who transport need to submit for mileage in addition to recording number of trips provided on monthly volunteer hours sheet.
Birthday Cards sent this month:
No report on Turning 60 Package.
Interview with Sarah Gillett board about our funding request for assistance with File of Life pockets will be 4/20.
Posssible change of monthly meeting to 1st Tues to be discussed next meeting
Meeting adjourned at 10:20 followed by stuffing snail mail flyers for 29th.
